I typically punch 30 to 50 badges ...Great value. I typically punch 30 to 50 badges at a time, usually once a month or so. This works perfectly for that level of use.5Cannot use guide for portrait CR80 ID cardsWe use standard ID cards (CR80 - 3.375 inches x 2.125 inches) printed portrait on a MagiCard Pronto card printer.The adjustable guide on this punch cannot be closed small enough to center the card, instead you have to manually align the card center. Not a problem for the odd card, but a pain when punching lots of them.Works well for landscape cards. but that is not how we print our cards.4Buy this rather than any handheld punch. You'll be glad you did.This product is great at a good price. I had bought the generic handheld slotted hole punch that did not penetrate the PVC card cleanly. The generic is now in the garbage. The TruLam is so much better and worth the price. The PVC ID Badge lines up with the edges of the base and with less force than the generic handheld produces a smooth, clean slot.5Great punch.I bought this to punch 160 VIP Passes. Each pass was heavy weight card stock plus 10mil of lamination. I set the punch for the right stop width and depth. This machine punched through all passes without issue and cleanly. Also, they shipped on time.4Great little card punchOk, so I had read that the guide doesn't work when punching cards on the short side, but if you're using the standard sized pvc card it ends up being the exact size of the punch platform so you just put your fingers on either side of it to keep it centered, punch, and voila, a perfectly centered punch on the short side! It is pretty sturdy and alot easier than a handheld punch. This really is a handy little card punch and because it's small it makes storing it when not in use easy. This slot punch is perfect for not only being able to punch a slot for lanyards, but also for making sure the slots are centered and in the same place on all laminated badges.5hole punch for name tagsFinally I was able to find this punch which enables me to put the plastic tabs with snaps in the top for name tags for a class I lead. It is very high quality and just what I needed. I searched many stores and couldn't find it and one of the leaders told me she found it on Amazon as well as the plastic tabs (which are way more expensive in the stores). I was so happy! Highly recommend this product which punches little rectangular holes in heavy paper.5Great fix for broken blindsI bought this to punch slots in some of my broken vertical blinds. I saw a few other buyers mention that they had done the same, and they are all spot on. This thing works great for vertical blinds. I just take my broken blinds and cut it off just below the old slot, then re-punch. It snaps right back in like the original deal. Net loss of blind is about 3/8". Much cheaper than new blinds.5
