you'll love this is you love AllieYou have to know Allie Brosh's hysterically funny work to appreciate this calendar. Otherwise, you would just be confused. However, if you know her work, just the mention of a story will set you laughing loudly and sometimes non-stop. For those of us of the great old days of SNL, remember how one line from a skit could get you going? This calendar and her stories are just like that. "Beeeees?"5Get Them Before They're GoneI wasn't sure what these would be like, but they're great fun. They're larger than I expected, and easy to prop up around the house here and there to remind us of Allie Brosh's wonderful humor - the best bad-mood fixer I can imagine. There are 12 pieces (with envelopes) that I split into 3 sets - kept one and sent the other two to friends who are also Hyperbole enthusiasts. They loved them. :D5Fun and gets the job done!Ordered this because I needed a notepad that would help keep me organized and somewhat productive, but I didn't want a boring old plain one. This definitely fit the bill. Bonus is that it doubles as a mouse pad, while I wait another week or so for the actual mouse pad I ordered (I wish all places had Amazon Prime shipping speed!). Didn't give it 5 stars only because some designs don't allow for as much writing under each day as I'd like or would find useful.4Great for the big fan, but could be slightly better value for the average personIf you're a huge hyperbole and a half fan, you probably need to get this. But it really, really could feel like better value. It's just... 12.... random... pictures. Randomly selected. Doesn't even really relate to the month. I would like it a little better if there were, say, an entire comic for the month. Or a a few pictures. But these drawings, in general, don't even have enough lines to fill up an entire calendar-sized page.Other than that it's cute and funny.4For HYPERBOLE AND A HALF FANSAwesome stand up cards! I sent "Helper Dog" with his red booties out as Christmas cards. They were a huge hit. I'm thinking of framing each card and hanging them up around the house. I had been keeping track of my daily tasks in a steno book, but when I saw this little puppy I had to give it a shot. While I would prefer the formatting to be a bit different in order to fit more tasks per day (half of the pages are designed for this, half are not) overall I think the pad is a very slick item and I am enjoying it immensely. There are six different designs so that you don't get bored with the same graphics and pattern day in and day out. The bright, cheerful colors liven up even the crappiest of days, and who can't help but smile when you see Allie's artwork?5LoveI love Allie Brosh, and for the second year in a row, I've ordered her Hyperbole and a Half calendar. I love the selections they pick for the calendar and how it is designed, as a whole. It is also big and allows for plenty of room to write on.5Funny Author GiftThis calendar was chosen because the author's book is not out yet. Don't know why there is such a long delay. My daughter loves this stuff, so I bought as a gift for her.5I love Hyperbole and a HalfI love Hyperbole and a Half! I was very excited to receive this in the mail when it came out. Unfortunately since I use a wireless optical mouse I can't use it as a mouse pad. When I tried to use it, the movements of the mouse were not being picked up. Also, some of the pages feature such a large image at the top that there is very little space for task lists and I have to write super small and put two items on each line. Otherwise, I enjoy using this every week.3
