My Shoulder and Back Truely Appriciates This!As a bassist I'm always on the look out for the next best thick padded guitar strap. I have a Mono M80 Betty guitar strap on my Fender Modern Player Jazz Bass V. Comfy but, but as I said I'm always on the look out for something better.I saw Anthrax bassist Frank Bello using this and thought I'd give it a shot. And I dig it!I had read some reviews before buying it of course. I'm glad I didn't get the XL version, because mind you I'm 6'3" and its perfect.I have it on my Spector NS2000 Q5 at the moment, The elastic in the strap helps it sit perfectly and gives it a little bounce, which takes the weight off. But this also scares me that eventually the elasticity will wear out and stretch down too far.So far I haven't read any complaints about this, so that's good lol.All in all if you are looking for a comfy strap...Then buy this!Side note...If you don't mind spending a little more, I say also check out the Mono M80 Betty.5Too many issuesI've been using this strap for about two weeks and so far it is not the miracle some reviews would lead you to believe. The basic problem is that there is simply no free ride with physics: your body/shoulder is going to be supporting the full weight of the instrument no matter what. All that the gel and elastic in the shoulder pad is going to get you is a slightly better spread on the load. That effect with this strap is marginal; it did not provide any great relief for me.And there are other issues. As many have mentioned the smallest size strap (Large) is WAY too long. Add in another $10 to the cost to take the strap to a shoe repair shop to have them take a good chunk of length out of the strap and restitch it. Even if you somehow needed all that length, since the shoulder pad is fixed, all that length only feeds out to the back end of your guitar, so the guitar will approach a vertical orientation. A superior strap design has adjustable straps on both ends. Not so with this one.Another problem is the crazy hard thick leather on the front end attachment point/hole. It's damn near impossible to get it onto a strap button. Oddly, the rear strap end is a softer leather and doesn't have this issue :/The front end of the strap also has a very hard, thick leather piece that has quite a bit of bulk to it. Probably not an issue with a typical guitar but on my SG, which has the front strap button on the back of the guitar near the neck, the twist due to the attachment point forces that hard bulky pad into my body which is annoying and uncomfortable (attaching the strap end the opposite way as is common with an SG doesn't help much). There is seemingly zero added functionality to this piece and it only serves as a place to attach a brand logo and/or to make it look more expensive(?).So this strap just isn't working for me. It only affords a modicum of increased comfort and there are too many other issues that simply have not been thought through. The search for a more comfortable and better designed strap continues :(2Best guitar strap everBest guitar strap ever. My 3rd Levis strap and 2 of them are this model number. I have a torn rotator cuff and before that had severe back and neck pain which needed fusion surgery - this strap was the only strap I could use. It make even a heavy bass feel light. The strap is sort of "bouncy" and the cushion is thick and more comfortable than any shoulder strap you could own.Eventually I will have one for all 7 of my electric guitar. Overkill maybe, but if you're going to go - go BIG.5Great looking strapGreat looking strap, that is very comfortable with a heavy bass guitar. However, I found it to have way too much stretch and bounce.Edit: After trying several straps, I'm back to this one. My favorite looking strap, the Rickenbacker leather vintage style is just too uncomfortable, and the strap slides in the shoulder pad alot. I found Kliq aircell strap to be too wide and too thick. The Mono Betty is a nice strap, but slides too much around on my shoulder. I play a somewhat heavy Rickenbacker 4003S bass, and after coming back to this strap, found that it's the most comfortable of all the ones I tried. It has just the right amount of "grip" on my shirt, and I found that the stretch and bounce is actually nice...4Nice strap with one problem...attachment...Nice strap, but I found it almost impossible to attach it to the guitar. The holes are way too small for a standard pin. I tried to pry it on with a screwdriver and ended up scratching my guitar when it slipped. I then decided to try to attach it with my locking pins. No can do--way to thick to get the threads started. Then I cut the hold a little with a box cutter. Still no way to get it on. I'm going to have to soak it, stretch it, and cut it some more before I can even get it on the guitar. Other than that seems like a quality strap. I wish I could tell you how it actually feels on the guitar, but still trying to get it attached. Any advice on how to do this would be appreciated and I've attached many straps in my life. This one is a pain.4Strong recommendVery happy with this strap. It's slightly "stretchy", but not overly so. The padding is think and SO comfortable compared to the basic straps I had been using. No flaws found in the construction, and I like the color scheme. As I've gotten older, I'm getting a little pain and I wanted a more comfortable experience on stage. This strap absolutely delivered and is now my main strap.I had a little bit of trouble fitting strap-locks because the leather ends are so thick, but a little persistence did the trick.5so I'd recommend finding this strap at GC or wherever they carry ...Not everyone has the same body size of course, so I'd recommend finding this strap at GC or wherever they carry these straps and try it on before buying online. This is supposed to be the big strap and I read reviews of others saying it was way too big. I have really broad shoulders, a broad gut, I'm 6'3 and around 300 lbs. not the typical size of most of my guitar heroes...the strap fully extended with my Les Paulrides about "mid belly". Way too high for me. It is comfortable to me. The strap feels good, it's just a little "springy"which is fine and I expected it to flex some. I should have confirmed the actual length I prefer instead of guessing it was long enough and reading reviews how it was too long. I'm keeping it and it's fine for the. Edroom, I don't think I would gig with it just because of how high it rides on me. If your of average size it should fit good enough. The comfort is there for Les Paul's and heavier guitars so it serves a purpose.3Ultra comfortableIf you're looking for a comfortable guitar strap, this is the one. I bought one last year for my bass, and was very pleased with how comfortable it felt. I didn't have any soreness like a normal strap might cause even after hours of playing. When it was time to buy another strap for my 6 string I was going to purchase another Levys but saw a different brand that had air cells advertised. It had a five star rating compared to the 4 stars that the Levys had so I decided to give it a try, even though I already knew how great the one I have is. I was so wrong to waste my time buying a different brand just because of the ratings and reviews. All those air cells do are dig into your skin at every single point they touch. Horribly uncomfortable. Stick with this Levys product and I'm sure you'll be happy with it. It's very well made and definitely very comfortable.5Awesome quality strap, but it's too longIn terms of quality construction and comfort, I'd rate this strap 5 stars. However, it is too long. Levy's website states that this strap is adjustable between 46 and 53 inches; I should have measured some of my other guitar straps before ordering, as even its shortest setting of 46 inches is too long for me (I'm 6'2" and weigh 185 lbs, and my current strap is adjusted to about 42.5"). And this is not even the "XL" model, which is 12 inches longer! Because of the strap's high quality, though, I'll be taking it to a shoe repair place near me to have them them modify it to fit me better, assuming the job doesn't cost more than the strap did in the first place. See my attached photo of the length of strap that will need to be removed. Bottom line: really awesome quality strap; just measure some of your current guitar straps from strap-button-hole to strap-button-hole to see if the 46" to 53" size range will work for you.4Quality all the wayThis strap is a really good buy, excellent buy. Stitching and materials obviously of excellent value, care in manufacturing obvious. Only beef I would have is Amazon did NOT make it obvious the strap was EXTRA-LONG, which was too long for me and I've seen many reviews before that said it's a nice strap but too long. Well, be aware there are TWO different Levy straps available: REGULAR AND EXTRA LONG. Amazon didn't have this mentioned in the item description, but if you look for the part number and it has"XL" in it, that means extra long.....long enough for an ape with 40 inch arms !!5
