Perfect microphone. Need a good power supplyPerfect microphone. Need a good power supply. I recommend installing software such as the "Peace" equalizer software to perfectly adjust the microphone and to find settings adequate for your liking. Also, I recommend taking the "Microphone Boost" setting off found in your microphone Recording settings through the Volume Control application (if you use Windows).Overall, PERFECT microphone for the purpose. I thought I accidentally broke it when unscrewing and adjusting the bottom of the microphone, but it seems to be sturdy and well-built. Perfectly functional as intended. Just be careful - it is a cardioid microphone, but it does pick up SOME feedback. Keep in mind this is a lower-end cardioid (i'd recommend perhaps trying a good hypercardioid microphone if you want to completely eliminate speaker feedback, or background noise) but all in all, perfect bang for your buck. I'd definitely shop Neweer once again in the future. This did not let me down.It is on the quiet side, but it's nothing that software couldn't fix. I wish they did recommend installing software though, I couldn't find anything like this in the comments. Just youtube "Peace equalizer microphone" and adjust the settings yourself to get the perfect sound. This microphone is not by any means plug-and-play. You will have to do some adjusting unless you have an actual Audio Mixer to go with it.5Great Microphone!!This mic works like a champ. I purchased it with the suspension boom stand and I use it pretty often when I give online lectures etc. Sound quality is great for a consumer microphone (or even prosumer), not even on the same planet compared to the cheap mics PCs ship with or after market bargain microphones. Note you have to have phantom power to make this microphone shine! You can get a cheap phantom power box on Amazon for about $16 bucks. I have had much more expensive condenser microphones that do not sound nowhere near as good as this one it is very clear also very strong and produces very great sounding vocals recommend getting a pop filter. This microphone has features of cardioid - directional pick-up, high-sensitivity output. Has low noise, wide dynamic range, most commonly used for studio recording of vocals and even will record some instruments well. Also will work for live stage performance, and production of movie and television plays and household pc recording, and broadcasting. Includes Single unit Super-Cardioid condenser microphone. One Shock proof stand that is made to absord shock and is made to mount on a mic stand it will screw on to almost any mic stand comes witb smallet nut piece you can connect to the shock absorder to mount it to smaller mic stands. Comes with black foam wind/spit proof cover. Manual , warranty card, pass certificate 1pc each, 2.5m xlr to 1/8" mic cord/wire so you can hook it up to a pc. But you may need a cheap usb sound card for your pc if your pc's sound card is below 5v which most newer computers are 5v or higher but the voltage of the sound card of older computers is generally 3v. Which will still work but will sound low. Also this microphone is best used with 48v phantom power when recording studio quality vocals. But if you do not have a mixer or recorder/interface with phantom power you can buy a 48v phantom power box for around $20 on Amazon. I myself use a Zoom R16 recorder/interface/controller to record music on and it has phantom power and works great so fae so good, I have only haf it a short time if quality fades I will update my reveiw. But I highly recommend this mic to anyone on a budget that wants to record studio quality vocals for music, or for broadcasting exp: Youtube videos, movie making etc...Before you go and waste your money on a $200 condenser microphone I highly recommend giving this a try for only $26 you cannot beat it I have been in the industry of music production for over a decade and this microphone is definitely worth buying and sounds excellent. I bought this with a stand and the phantom power all for under $60. From my testing, it sounds very good, even comparing or beating the blue yeti microphone. If configured correctly, most, if not all, of the background noise is removed. One of the reasons I decided to upgrade my mic is because it picks up my loud blue switches from my mechanical keyboard. I took a few minutes to configure the mics volume and gain to remove the background noise and only show my voice. After configuration, the mic only picks up my voice and no background noise, not even my loud keyboard, all while keeping my voice loud enough to where people have to turn my volume down in chat because I'm so loud. I'm a beginner in music production and I bought this mic and BEHRINGER Audio Interface but it doesn't work idk why. when I connect my headphones with the Audio Interface I can hear my voice from the mic but when I try to record it doesn't work help me guys4Very nice, For a $20 Microphone.I had purchased the NW-700 for 10$ on eBay previously. This is much better. So, after about a year, the nw-700's XLR cable broke, (Why did I buy an entirely new microphone? Because at the time I had thought that the mic itself was broken.) So, I bought this. It was a fight over this and the NW-1500. I chose this cause it had (at the time of writing) it had a half star more and was Amazon's Choice. The sound is more Crisp and clear than the NW-700, and it sounds less Walkie-Talkie like. (Also, if I get the right angle, it passes as an audio-technica.) The new top has a larger receiving pattern, and is FLIPPING GOLD!! (rage party lol ) It needs 48v Phantom Power Supply, which I don't think they stress enough. Without phantom power, it's basically a 20$ paperweight that will hear you if you scream. I don't want to crush your Audiophile dreams or anything, but inside is a small metal frame, and a cheap printed board. Anyways, this is a good mic (Note that I said "Good") but, it's a $20 mic, and it doesn't deserve five stars. However I bought with the intention to record on my Android. And it doesn't work with the Android at all....so I had to return this one. And purchase a similar one that is specifically designed for Android's.5This is a very good entry level microphoneThis is a very good entry level microphone. I was tired of shoddy "gaming" headsets with awful drivers and tinny mics. So I decided to get a real mic and pair it with my Sennheiser HD280s. My guild mates noticed the difference immediately. I sounded clearer and had a much richer voice to them. I didn't have alot of background noise as this mic does not pick up all sounds like a cheap headset mic will.It looks very nice on its scissor arm stand mounted to my desk. You will however need a phantom power supply to go with this mic, as even with the power supply it does not have a good range on it. I normally position it about 8-10 inches away from me when using. If you do alot of voice communication while gaming and have a decent set of headphones, this is a much better option compared to buying a "gaming" headset.4
