Customer Reviews

Nice but 1 input broke after 6 months I'm using it for in home instrument playing. Having bought a Pyle mixer before and being completely satisfied with it, I got this wireless system and it's awesome. Reasonable price and fairly versatile. Tons of channels to select from. Zero latency as far as I can detect using visual/audio sync tools. No interference when using next to a ton of electronic devices. It's got 2 channels too so it's great for mixing signals together.Unfortunately one of the 2 channels randomly broke after 6 months. The portable receiver is powerful enough to drive over-ear headphones with ease. Super awesome for playing guitar wirelessly on both input (I'm using a Line 6 G10) and output.Only wish is for the transmitter to be slightly smaller so it can be more portable. And having stereo would be nice too. 3So far so good! Product functions as designed. I just got this and tested it out using 1 and 2 XLR inputs; both work and respond well (sound always came out on both sides of the headphones in the receiver even if only connecting through one XLR input in the transmitter). This is my first in-ear set so I'm sure there are better systems out there, but this has been a great purchase so far to fulfill my basic necessity. It gets the job done and I don't think you can beat this for the price. 5Nice Unit Didn't know what to expect until I plugged it in and tried the unit. Pleasantly surprised. We have six $700 shure units and my church didn't want to spend any more money at this time on more. They did allow me to purchase the Pyle unit because of the price. Did not experience any drop outs as I traveled around our mid size campus. Transmitter and receiver seem well made. I like the many channel options. I used my shure in-ear buds. The supplied ear buds are basic stereo buds. Try it, I think you'll like it. 5Great IEM System for the Price!! Used it once so far, after about 30 minutes to dial it in and set the gains I was able to achieve a nice volume and tone using my MEE Pro 6 buds. Very pleased thus far. It took me about an hour to get used to singing with them on, you will feel distant to the band, but for singers you will feel as one ;)ProsEasy to setupInstructions are clearUnit is simple to get up and runningSignal quality is goodReceiver volume knob tension is good to prevent clothing contactConsGain knobs on rear panel very sensitiveBelt clip is not easy to fasten on waistConclusionDon't get frustrated if you have problems getting a good signal and volume, you will need to play with the settings until you find what works best for your PA. 4Working just fine in our studio setup, but needed to add a mic amp It's not perfect, it's not built like a tank, but it costs a fraction of systems that do, and gets the job done just fineSo, the setup we are using this in is a talkshow type studio, and this system is hooked strait up to a podium style mic so that the producer can whisper sweet nothings into the host's ear. It works just as intended except for that i needed to add an amp, as the dynamic mic i got for the system just didn't produce levels when plugged directly into this system. There's a gain dial on the rear of this device but even with that at maximum, no real volume.Keep in mind, the rear gain dials adjust the incoming signal, the volume knob on the front adjusts only the headphone jack on the unit, not the signal going to the ear monitor. The base unit feels plenty well made, the receiver unit is very plasticy, i would treat it as nicely as possible. The volume knob has a sufficient range to adjust to the listener's ear. I would knock a half star off if possible for the plastic and thin antennas. All in all, you can spend many times the price to achieve just about the same thing, and for that, it gets full marks. will update this review if anything falls apart. 5The ear monitors sounded good (when compared to the Shure IEM) and more importantly Product arrived quickly, and well packaged. I haven't tried the system on stage, but was impressed with the quick trial set up using the aux monitor-send of a mixer. The ear monitors sounded good (when compared to the Shure IEM) and more importantly, the noise ratio is low or non-existent - which is what I was looking for (especially compared to the cheaper ZGY system I previously purchased). The only concern I MAY have at this point is the amount of volume I will be able to get in the IEM. I have yet to try this product with a monitor distribution amp that I know will boost the volume of a signal. Great value IEM system. 4Good startup in ear monitor system really good low cost in ear system...great for small churches that doesnt have the budget to wpurchase the shures, beringers, aviom, in ear monitor systems...also great for translators...not as durable as I would expect...the little antennas fell out after a couple of months of use...the ear phones they come with works for a translator but not for a singer or musician using it as in ear monitors. 4You get what you pay for Nice budget monitor system. Signal is just fine. Don't expect anything good from stock earphones, just change them with any other earphones asap. Giving it four stars just because of totally cheap material of receiver. It is not durable at all, plastic clip will get broken very soon and I doubt that whole receiver will survive a single drop. It is not a deal breaker anyway, I'm totally satisfied with purchase. 4Price is good, but wouldn't recommend My wife has been using one of these as her stage monitor in our cover band for about 6 months now. She likes it so much we are getting rid of all of our powered floor monitors and switching the entire band over to these. I have to agree with the comment that the receiver plastic feels a little cheap. That said, she's already dropped hers a few times (with no protective case) and it still works fine. If you put yours in a standard nylon strap case you should have no issues.Batteries seem to last about 2 rehearsals (8-10 hours). We use rechargeable batteries to keep the cost down, and they work fine. The ear buds are cheap, but since they use standard connectors they are simple to swap out for something better. All in all couldn't be happier with the purchase. I just ordered mine today. Super jazzed to finally be getting rid of our loud stage monitors......no more feedback problems....and looking forward to finally being able to hear myself.Edit: We are now using 4 of these units (one for each band member) and even though I assigned each unit to a different frequency (evenly spread throughout the spectrum) we started having dropouts and other interference issues. I re-read Pyle's horrible excuse for a user manual cover to cover...... no help. Contacted Pyle technical support, which was also a complete joke. Anyway, it seems that there are different assignable frequency "groups", accessible from the front panel. Each transmitter MUST be assigned to a different group number (if you are running more than one). I'm adding this info in case someone else runs into this problem, because Pyle technical support failed to mention this to me.Edit 2: Continued to struggle with some drop outs (even after the frequency group tweak mentioned above), and discovered the units were "gating" (shutting down audio) if the signal going to the transmitter from the board was too hot. So if you are having a dropout problem you should also look at maxing out the volume on the receiver and reduce the volume coming off your mixer. That solved the remaining dropout issue for us.Edit 3: Decided I'd do an update now having owned these for about 10 months. In a word, I would not buy these again. First, I should state the transmitters are fine. The receivers turned out to be complete garbage. The plastic is cheap. The battery compartment is too tight (in both of our units), and eventually the spring mechanisms for the batteries would pop on the ground every time we change out the batteries. Now on to the more serious issues. Both of our receivers stopped working in the past month. The antenna on my wife's unit came off at a rehearsal, making the unit cut in and out again. My unit was also cutting in and out like crazy, but I noticed it was when I touched the earphone jack. I took the unit apart and the headphone jack soldering points to the circuit board were cold joints and had worked loose. I re-soldered the points and it started working again. Then one month later, BOTH of my antennas sheared off inside the base (not unlike like my wife's), prompting me to re-open the unit again and re-solder the antenna's. I know they were only $190, but they should last more than 8 - 10 months. The antennas definitely seem to be the weak point, as there is no reinforcement before the solder joint (as the antenna moves it slowly loosens the solder connection to the circuit board). Just bad design. Our monitors are extremely important to us, and honestly it's just not worth the hassle anymore. This week we decided enough is enough and upgraded to better units. My advice: Save your money and get a better system. This one will give you nothing but problems. 2Amazing system. I use this at my gigs and ... Amazing system. I use this at my gigs and it works perfectly. It saved my hearing as I can control what I hear onstage now. I don't have the bass, drums, horns and everything else in my ears. No straining to hear myself in the floor monitors anymore! 5
